The project invites young people to reflect on America’s past, present, and future by expressing what unity, democracy, and being American mean to them today. 2. Who can participate in the My America project?

This project is designed for young people, grades K-12. Schools, youth groups, and community organizations across the United States are encouraged to join.

3. Is My America a political initiative?

No. MY AMERICA is a nonpartisan, youth-focused initiative. The project is about reflection, creativity, and civic pride—not politics. It gives young people a chance to share their voices and visions of America through art. The goal is to honor our history, celebrate unity, and inspire hope for the future, not to advance any political agenda.

4. How do we register our school or organization?

You can register online using the MY AMERICA registration form. Once registered, your group will receive a confirmation email and details about when and how tile kits will be delivered.

Each kit contains red, white, or blue fabric tiles, markers, and instructions. Everything your group needs to create their message for America is included.

6. How many tiles can our group receive?

Tile quantities are based on the number of students or youth participants in your organization. During registration, you’ll indicate how many participants you expect, and we’ll match your kit size to your needs.

7. What should students put on their tiles?

Tiles are meant to express each young person’s vision of America today—what unity, democracy, and America means to them. This can include drawings, words, symbols, or patterns.

8. Is there a cost to participate?

No. Thanks to our partners and sponsors, participation and tile kits are provided free of charge.
